"A friendship as fragile as a dinner plate..."
Director's Statement:
"Personal Hell looks different for everyone, and in formulating a capstone idea I reminisced on a moment in which a dinner with friends of mine at the time may as well have been an additional circle referenced in Dante’s Inferno.
I wanted to explore the complicated relationships between friends who share nothing but time and history. I wanted to highlight the point in time when one realises the kinds of people their once-friends have grown into, and the unidentifiable grief that comes with it.
Inferno is a letter of compassion to my past self and my true friends from my adolescence."
